Spartan® Plier Clamps

Spartan® Plier Clamps: applications

Primarily developed for use in metal finishing plants as a fast clamping tool, Spartan® Plier Clamps by CMT Engineering are capable of withstanding the corrosive attack of chemicals used within the industry. We mould them at our factory in the West Midlands, UK.

Spartan® Plier Clamps: description

Spartan® Plier Clamps are moulded in glass-filled Noryl for use in anodising, giving a maximum usable temperature of 105°C.

Or they can be moulded in glass-filled Radel, for use in electro-brightening and painting, and at temperatures of up to 220°C.

Spartan® Plier Clamps come plain tipped as standard. We can supply tips for Spartan® Plier Clamps in titanium, increasing grip and reducing witness marks. Or in ceramic or zirconium for electro-brightening and two-step colour processes.

The clamping force for Spartan® Plier Clamp Heavy 40 and Spartan® Plier Clamp Heavy 55 is provided by a stainless steel torsion spring. The other Spartan® Plier Clamps have a stainless steel leaf spring.
