Spartan Wedge® Clamp: applications
We have developed the Spartan® Wedge Clamp primarily for use in metal finishing plants as a special clamping tool. It is capable of withstanding the corrosive attack of chemicals used within the industry.
Our Spartan® Wedge Clamp secures hollow sections from the inside, enabling the whole length of the section to be anodised or painted. It adjusts to suit jigs and sections of different sizes, ensuring fast secure fixing and good electrical contact.
As the clamp fits inside the section, there are no external clamping marks, eliminating the need for wasteful trimming.

Spartan Wedge® Clamp: description
Our Spartan Wedge® Clamp is moulded in glass-filled Noryl for use in anodising, giving a maximum usable temperature of 105°C.
Or it can be moulded in glass-filled Radel, for use in painting and electro-brightening, at temperatures of up to 220°C.
The Spartan® Wedge Clamp comes plain tipped as standard. We can supply tips for the Spartan® Wedge Clamp in titanium, increasing grip and reducing witness marks. Or in ceramic or zirconium for electro-brightening and two-step colour processes.
The Spartan Wedge® Clamp weighs just 40g.
