To ensure the correct fit we recommend that long screws should be bought as complete assemblies. If matching separate components the parallel thread much be produced using a back nut as a gauge.

- Because of the close tolerances required when match male and female parallel threads we recommend that parallel threads should be produced using a backnut as a gauge.

- Flat seat unions are fitted with Phoenix PG-T gaskets 1mm thick.
- Gaskets must be kept clean and dry and should not be over-tightened.
- Although all components are produced from solid bar our recommended design pressure rating is reduced to 50 bar because the union is used only as an assembly.
