CMT Engineering has developed Spartan® Clamps and Floats to satisfy the requirements of the surface-finishing industry. We manufacture them all at our plant in the UK.
Spartan® Clamps are available in various models and sizes in two materials:
Glass-filled Noryl is suitable for temperatures of up to 105°C
Glass-filled Radel is suitable for temperatures of up to 220°C.
Most Spartan® Clamps are available with fine- or coarse-thread screws. These can be left plain, or tipped. We can supply the tips in titanium, increasing grip and reducing witness marks. Or in ceramic or zirconium for electro-brightening and two-step colour processes.
We also manufacture Spartan® Hexagonal Floats in 50mm and 100mm, which are used to reduce evaporation and heat loss – and therefore save energy.
